An exciting opportunity - Preschool Manager Role!

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person to lead and support our amazing dedicated team of practitioners, with lead responsibility for safeguarding and SENCO, in our Ofsted "Outstanding" rated popular village preschool with strong forest school ethos.

Full time 35 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks a year)
-We operate 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday
-We have 26 child places for ages 2.5-4 years, in a dedicated building

This exciting and challenging role involves:
-Leading and managing a dedicated team locally known as 'The Ladies in Blue'
-Fulfilling all legal and statutory requirements including Ofsted and the Charities Commission.
-Working co-operatively with the Chair and Management Committee.
-Liaising with parents/carers and outside agencies.
-Managing systems of observation, tracking and record keeping of children's progress, updating and implementing policies.
-Implementing curriculum plans; taking into account EYFS requirements
Applicants are required to have:
-Minimum Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualifications or equivalent, hold or obtain enhanced DBS certificate
-At least two years experiences in an early years setting; in line with EYFS guidelines.
-Sound understanding of child development and of children's needs including demonstrable and detailed knowledge of current legislation relevant to the Early Years and EYFS.
-IT skills and organisational ability are also essential.
