Job Overview
As Nursery Manager, you will lead the day-to-day running of a nursery, supporting a safe, welcoming environment where children can learn and develop. You will guide the team, organise care and learning, and communicate clearly with families and colleagues. Your impact: thoughtful leadership helps children feel secure and gives families confidence in the care their children receive.
Duties
Lead and support staff, setting clear expectations and encouraging consistent, child-centred practice.
Oversee daily childcare routines and early childhood education activities, ensuring children's wellbeing and development remain central.
Communicate with families and colleagues about children's needs, progress and day-to-day care.
Organise nursery operations, address concerns promptly and maintain a welcoming environment for children, families and staff.
Experience
Required: Must hold Level 3 childcare qualification, paediatric first aid certificate.
You will bring practical management and leadership capabilities, clear communication in English, and the ability to organise childcare routines and support children's learning and wellbeing. Preferred: Nursery experience, experience working with children and knowledge of early childhood education will help you guide the team and provide responsive care.
