Part-Time Teaching Assistant
New Essex Pay Scale 3
Point 4-5, depending on experience
Required: January 2021
3 days per week (Weds-Fri)
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to be part of our caring, competent and jolly team of Support staff. The successful candidate will be required for three days a week during term time. The role is a classroom based TA, working with children in Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception).
Candidates must have:
· A good educational background including at least GCSE grade C or above in English and Mathematics and ideally, NVQ Level 2 Supporting Children in Education.
· Experience of working with children in an educational setting, ideally EYFS.
You should also be prepared to work in partnership with the class teacher, taking direction while also using your own initiative and be firm, kind, patient, consistent, flexible and approachable.
