The Christus Catholic Trust are seeking to appoint:
Administrative & Finance Assistant
Salary - Band 3 - Point 7 to 16 (CCT Thurrock Academies Pay Scale). Salary Range: £17,791 - 20,431 FTE
20 hours per week - Term Time Only - Permanent contract
Start date: as soon as possible
Location: St Joseph's Catholic Primary, Stanford Le Hope, Essex
This is a great opportunity for an individual who is able to provide an effective and efficient administrative support to the Academy, including some Finance.
The primary responsibilities and requirements for this role are:
Administration of the academy's central email
Administrative duties for the Local Government Committee
To accept and sign for deliveries as appropriate
General administrative duties to assist the Finance Manager and Administrative Officer
To minute meetings as appropriate
Raise orders and oversee deliveries
Ordering of stock relating to the financial management of the academy
Completion of forms in relation to Supply Staff, Extra Duties, Overtime, Travel Claims and Lettings of academy's premises
Scrutinise statements, ensuring invoices are paid in accordance with the Academy's policy
The successful candidate should be:
· Someone with a can do and flexible attitude
· professional and reliable
· willing to work collaborative with others and work autonomously
· experienced working in a primary school environment (desirable)
· understanding and compliant of the procedures and legislation relating to confidentiality
Information about the Academy:
St Joseph's Catholic Primary is located at Stanford-Le-Hope and is part of a multi academy trust (The Christus Catholic Trust), which currently has 5 primary schools. St Joseph's is a single form entry located in the heart of a diverse community. The latest Ofsted Inspection rates them as a 'good' school.

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School and The Christus Catholic Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks. You are required, before appointment, to disclose any unspent conviction, cautions, reprimands or warnings under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.
