LEVEL 3 EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER

Little Children Daycare
Hockley, Essex

Pay: Depending on qualifications and experience
Equivalent to approximately £22,000-£35,000 per year.

Little Children Daycare is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dependable Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our growing team.

We are an Ofsted-registered, home-based childcare setting providing high-quality care and early education for children from birth to five years. We offer a warm, nurturing and stimulating home-from-home environment where children are supported through child-led play, sensory activities, outdoor exploration and individually planned learning opportunities.

We plan to expand into a larger setting within the next year. This is an exciting opportunity to join us during an important stage of our development, with genuine opportunities for career progression, increased responsibility and professional growth as the setting expands.

The role will include:

Providing safe, nurturing and attentive care
Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS
Planning engaging activities based on children's interests and next steps
Completing observations and maintaining accurate learning records
Supporting feeding, sleeping, toileting and personal-care routines
Building positive relationships with children and their families
Maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating environment
Following safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour and confidentiality procedures
Working closely with the childminder and other practitioners
The successful candidate must:

Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Have a good understanding of the EYFS
Be warm, patient, reliable and genuinely passionate about childcare
Understand safeguarding responsibilities
Work effectively as part of a small team
Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues
Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check or have one preferred.
Hold paediatric first-aid training or be willing to complete it
Previous experience caring for babies is preferred, as the role may include supporting babies with feeding, sleeping, personal care, attachment and early development.
