About the role:

We're looking for a reliable and organised Governance Clerk to support governing board meetings across schools within our Trust based in the Ongar, Halstead and Chelmsford areas.

The role includes:

· Attending governing board meetings

· Taking accurate minutes

· Completing post-meeting administration and distributing minutes in an agreed timeframe

What we're looking for:

· Excellent organisational and communication skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

· Experience in clerking, administration or governance is desirable

· A background in education would be advantageous

Work Schedule:

4 evening meetings per school each academic year, held during term time in the evenings

Hours to cover meeting, attendance and minute writing
