We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our front office team at Stourview Primary Academy, part of the Canonium Learning Trust.
This is a key role in the daily running of the school and we are looking for someone who is not only efficient and organised but who also brings warmth, patience, and a positive attitude to their work.
You will often be the first point of contact for visitors, families and children, so a welcoming and professional manner is essential. You should also have a strong adherence to confidentiality. There may on occasion be a requirement to support children in school and so a calm, relational approach is key.
This role is varied and can be challenging so adaptability in a fast-paced environment is key to success. Experience of working in school is preferred but not essential.
A candidate pack is included which provides details about the role, responsibilities and qualifications required.
The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8.45am -3.15pm totalling 30 hours per week across 39 working weeks per year (term time + non-pupil days).
The actual salary starts at £18,645 per annum.
We are a growing school and so there may be an opportunity to increase working hours in the future.
It is hoped that the appointed postholder will also have capacity to take on the current Breakfast Club Assistant role advertised with working hours from 7.30am - 8.30am daily. Please see the relevant advert for further details and note in your personal statement whether you wish to be considered for both positions.
Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to reach out to our HR team at recruitment@canonium.org. We are here to support you throughout this process and look forward to the possibility of welcoming you to Canonium Learning Trust.
