School Admin Assistant for the Mid Essex Anglican Academy Trust, based at Shenfield St Mary's Church of England Primary School.

5 days a week, 8.30am to 3.30pm with 30 minutes lunchbreak.

32.5 hours per week

39 weeks (term time plus inset days)

Starting in September 2026

Scale 4 Point 8-9 (pro-rated annual salary £20,748.52 - £21,072.32)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable person to work in our school office and Trust central team. You will be one of the first point of contact for all visitors to the school and must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A professional telephone manner, attention to detail and the ability to work calmly and effectively will be essential.

Key responsibilities will be to provide an effective and efficient clerical and welfare support to the school including financial administration.

The School Admin Assistant will work closely with the Senior Lead Administrator, the school's and Trust's administration teams, reporting to the CEO, Head of School and Trust Staff. In addition, they will liaise with other staff across the Trust, pupils, parents, external agencies and visitors

Good IT skills are essential as is the ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience of administering first aid, basic principles of GDPR and the use of MIS systems are all desirable.
