Learning Support Assistant (1-1) -St Andrew's CofE Primary School
5 days a week, 27.08 hrs
Scale 3 - Points 6-7 TBC depending upon experience
Monday - Friday 08:45am - 15:15pm
St Andrew's CofE Primary School (part of the All Saints Academy Trust) are looking to recruit a part-time LSA with an interest in SEN to provide 1-1 support for a child/children in EY who needs specialist support. You will be part of our highly skilled and enthusiastic team and will add to this team by demonstrating a passion for and dedication to helping pupils learning to do more and remember more.
Please apply if you:
- Have experience of supporting children with complex SEND (this is desirable but not essential)
- Personal qualities - emotional resilience, and willingness to learn are equally important, a desire to make a difference.
- We are looking for someone who remains calm and emotionally regulated under pressure. Can build trusting relationships through consistency and warmth. Understands that behaviour is communication. Can work flexibly as part of a wider team. Is willing to learn and implement specialist strategies. Training and support will be provided.
-The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and external professionals to help create a predictable, nurturing and communication-rich environment where the child can feel safe, connected, and able to engage in learning.
