Alresford Primary is a one form, friendly village school, with supportive and driven staff. Our children are inquisitive, polite and eager to learn.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Key stage 1 LSA to join our team. The position is part-time Monday - Friday 1:00pm to 3:15pm. This position is initially fixed term for 1 year, however we hope to secure further funding to enable this position to be permanent.
The successful applicant will have:
.Experience of the KS1 curriculum
·Experience or interest in supporting pupils with a range of needs e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties.
·Flexible and adaptable with timetabling and the daily routines
·Excellent communication skills
·TPP behaviour management skills
.Have a calm, nuturing approach, but with clear expectations and boundaires
.Work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher and Deputy Head/SENCO
.Adapt questioning and instructions to the needs of individual children
.Have a good standard of literacy and numeracy
