Job Description

We are looking for a part time cleaner (St. Andrew's CofE Primary School) for 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day 3.30pm - 5.30pm at £13.05ph (actual work pattern may be flexible and to be mutually agreed) Term-time only plus one extra week.

LGS Scale2, point 4-5 (£25,185 - £25,583 FTE)

St. Andrew's C of E Primary School, which is part of the All Saints Academy Trust (ASAT), are looking for a friendly, reliable and diligent individual to join our team who takes pride in the high standards of presentation at our school. The post will involve carrying out general cleaning duties, including, but not limited to, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets. This will require duties such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of washroom areas, toilets, tables, chairs etc. A good understanding of hygiene, cleaning chemicals and equipment would be desirable, but training will be given.

You will work as part of our small Premises team, and the wider school community, to keep our school buildings clean, safe, smart, compliant and fit for providing a high-quality education for our pupils.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and will have a flexible approach to the tasks undertaken and the hours worked. The ability to use your own initiative and to work independently is highly desirable.
