We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous cleaner to join our hardworking team at Blackmore Primary School.
As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our classrooms, toilets and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cleaning desks, dusting, hoovering and mopping classroom areas
• Cleaning toilets and ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies
• Maintaining the cleanliness of other public spaces
• Replenishing supplies of blue paper towels, toilet rolls, and tissues
Qualifications and Experience:
• Previous experience in a cleaning or caretaking role is preferred, but not essential
• A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the school
What We Offer:
• Salary: Scale 1, point 3 (£13.23 per hour) including outer fringe allowance 38 paid weeks. Actual salary £4,604.39 per annum including 5.5 weeks holiday pay. Pay award pending.
• Contract: 8 hours per week, term-time contract with the opportunity to work additional hours during the summer holiday for our deep clean.
• Afternoon sessions from 3.30pm to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 3.00pm to 5pm Friday. Would possibly consider early mornings for the right applicant.
