Join Our Successful SEND Team at Kingswood Primary School and Nursery

Kingswood Primary School and Nursery is seeking two dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our highly successful SEND team.

The Roles:
We are looking to appoint two caring and enthusiastic LSAs to work as part of our SEND team. Roles will include a mixture of one-to-one support for students, groups of children and provide general classroom assistance.
The successful candidates will be integral in providing high-quality support for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) by undertaking the following:
Provide individual and small-group support for pupils with EHCPs.
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and communication development.
Help implement behaviour and learning strategies in a positive and supportive manner.
Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support.

Contract Details & Candidate Attributes
Contract: Fixed Term until 31 August 2026 (with a view to be extended)
Qualification: Ideally Level 3 trained.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40 am - 3:10pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break) - term time only
Experience: Experience working with children with Autism would be an advantage.
Essential: Hardworking, dedicated, adaptable,
and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Start Date: 5 January 2026
Passion: Enthusiastic about SEND children's learning and development.
