Local Government Pay Scale Level 3 point 5 £25,583 pa, FTE
(£20,906.35 per annum actual pro rated salary)
Mon to Fri 08.00 to 15.30 | 35.83 hours a week | Term Time only (38.4 weeks)
We are at an exciting time in our development and following an increase in student numbers we are seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to enhance the learning of students who have a wide range of special educational needs. Applicants must be friendly, enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role is preferable, however training will be provided.
The school supports a diverse range of students with Special and Additional Educational Needs, including those with Communication or interaction difficulties, Cognition and learning difficulties, Emotional, social, and mental health difficulties and Sensory and/or physical needs.
The school provides a personalized timetable for each student to meet their individual needs.
Our Learning resource base provides a specialized provision located within a mainstream school's SEN (Special Educational Needs) department. It is a dedicated space and program designed to provide targeted support to students with specific and often complex educational needs.

, near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
Chase High School was built more than 100 years ago and recently secured academy status under the Discovery Educational Trust. The secondary school continues to be involved in the community, forging local and international partnerships.
