Learning Support Assistants required:

We have roles that involve working as general in-class support and working as a named adult with a child with complex SEND.
The successful candidate will need:
· A supportive, patient and caring nature
· Good literacy and numeracy skills
· Good spoken and written English
· Good communication skills
· The ability to build positive and professional relationships with children, parents and staff
· The ability to use your own initiative but also to work as part of a team - including outside professionals
· Motivation to work with children potentially with a range of special needs - e.g. related to speech, language and communication, social and emotional development including related behavioural needs and cognitive, learning and developmental needs.
· A commitment and determination to help children fulfil their potential
· Experience in working with children is preferable

The post is for 26.25 hours per week with the possibility of extending this further should this be required based on the role and potentially the needs of child.
The roles will be discussed at interview.
