Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating structure that empowers others? We're looking for aTimetable Coordinator to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in ensuring every student and staff member starts their day on the right foot.

As Timetable Coordinator, you'll lead the planning, development, and maintenance of timetables and course schedules across the College. Your work will ensure our teaching, learning, and support functions run smoothly helping staff and students get the most out of every day.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end creation and management of student and staff timetables.
  • Develop planning tools in partnership with Curriculum Directors.
  • Maintain and update course information within the College's Management Information System (MIS).
  • Coordinate changes to student groups and timetables with minimal disruption.
  • Ensure accuracy across all course listings on internal and external platforms.
  • Track course funding eligibility and support audit readiness.
  • Monitor attendance systems and troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Manage classroom allocations and ensure space is used efficiently.
  • Provide user support for MIS platforms and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Support wider college data entry tasks including enrolments, outcomes, and destinations.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

Essential:

  • A high standard of education or equivalent substantial relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of timetabling processes and related data management.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to lead cross-departmental tasks.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a Further Education (FE) setting.
  • Understanding of curriculum management and support systems.
  • Computer-related qualifications or formal training.
