Nursery Room Leads (at least Level 3 Early Years qualified) - Lee Chapel & Chapel Hill Nurseries (September start)
LEE CHAPEL NURSERY
Hours of work: 8:30 am - 2.50pm - 30 hours per week (20 minute unpaid lunch break), term-time only
Salary: Scale 3 Point 6 - £17,512 per year (£1,459 a month before deductions)
CHAPEL HILL NURSERY
Hours of work: 8:30 am - 2.50pm - 30 hours per week (20 minute unpaid lunch break), term-time only
Salary: Scale 3 Point 6 - £17,512 per year (£1,459 a month before deductions)
OR
Hours of work: 8:30 am - 4:15pm (4:10pm on Fridays) - 37 hours per week (20 minute unpaid lunch break), 51.1 weeks a year (6.5 weeks holiday, including Bank Holidays, to be taken during term-time)
Salary: Scale 3 Point 6 - £25,372 per year (£2,114 a month before deductions)
Due to expansion, we have exciting opportunities for experienced Room Leads to join Lee Chapel Nursery & Chapel Hill Nursery (located close to each other in Basildon).
The offer is open to experienced practitioners with at least a Level 3 early years/childcare qualification. Leading either the Rising 3s or Rising 4s room, you will provide safe, high-quality education and provision for the young children in your care. Duties will include leading a team of staff, planning activities, acting as a keyworker for a small group of children, providing exceptional care, liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met, teaching children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation, helping to set up and tidy away at the end of the session, attending meetings and training courses as appropriate, and undertaking any other reasonable duties as directed by the Nursery Manager/Headteacher.
