A unique opportunity has arisen for the position of School Caretaker at Colchester County High School for Girls.
The position is for 37 hours per week, full-time for 52 weeks with 23 days' holiday rising to 27 days after 5 years' service
The successful candidate will support the Site Team Leader in all aspects of the team's work and contribute to the development of the school's ethos and culture, sharing in the aims for students and supporting the school's policies as appropriate.
They will also be a committed and flexible team player able to contribute to the smooth running of the school.
CCHSG is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check by the DBS.
Information about the School
Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust. It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding". Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students into the Sixth Form. The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site. Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
