To apply for NQT roles in Essex just click here to register your details and create a profile.
You can then use the profile to apply for any posts advertised on the website which are suitable for NQTs.
Your profile will be visible to Essex schools, so they can view it when searching for suitable candidates. You can also amend and add to your online profile as your knowledge and experience increase.
Learning and CPD
Essex offers an extensive induction and professional support programme for NQTs and has a wide range of CPD courses for new and experienced teachers. All NQTs and their induction tutors are provided with a range of support materials including a comprehensive Professional Development Portfolio to guide you through the induction process and your early career development.
NQT Resettlement Grant
If you are an NQT moving to Essex to teach in a secondary school or a special school with secondary age pupils, you may be eligible to claim resettlement grant of up to £750 (including VAT) if you meet the criteria of the scheme.
