Catering Manager

Required April 2024

23 3/4 hours a week

Monday to Friday 8.45am to 1.30pm

Term time only

Scale 5, points 9 to 12

Actual Salary starting from £13482.79

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Manager to prepare fresh meals of a high quality for our pupils at Cold Norton Primary School. The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team dedicated to ensuring our children are safe, learn well and are well cared for.

The successful candidate must:

Ø have experience of working in a kitchen environment providing 100 meals per day

Ø be up to date with the latest allergen training and procedures

Ø be trained to level 3 Food Safety or be willing to work towards this

Ø be able to plan a balanced, nutritious menu

Ø have experience with food ordering, stock and budget management

Ø have experience line managing a small kitchen team

Ø be familiar with food standards and food hygiene regulations

Ø display a professional attitude

Ø remain calm under pressure

Ø communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils

Ø be committed to supporting the values and ethos of our school.

Cold Norton Primary School is a Community Primary School for children aged between 4-11 year that serves the village of Cold Norton and the surrounding areas.
