The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a class teacher from September 2024. ECT's are welcome to apply.

The successful candidate to join our friendly team will:

· Be a dedicated, inspiring teacher with drive and enthusiasm

· Have effective teaching skills

· Be committed to ensuring the progress of individual pupils in the class

· Have a sound understanding of the national curriculum objectives and is able to use assessment effectively

· Be a team player who is friendly, positive and proactive with good interpersonal skills

· Be a practising Catholic or willing to support the Catholic ethos of the school

Information about the School

St Helen’s Catholic Primary School is the oldest Catholic primary school in Southend and has been on the present site since 1973. We are pleased to have served our community for so long. We hope to deliver our mission statement as written by the pupils, to show respect to ourselves, everyone in our school and wider community and most of all to God our Father in heaven.
