Chelmsford College are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic person with team-leading or supervisory experience to ensure an effective Reception Service is provided on both campuses.
Other duties will include:
- Preparing rotas on a weekly basis
- Ordering stock as required
- Keeping up to date with funding rules and providing funding guidance to applicants/learners
- Preparing annual fee document, administration of ID, reporting process and providing admin/admissions support when required.
The role will also include employing/managing/training temporary staff employed for enrolment and overseeing stage 3 of enrolment.
It is essential to have excellent IT skills, be able to work accurately under pressure and have good communication skills on all levels.
At busy times of the year candidates will need to be flexible in their working hours. Availability to provide sickness cover, extra cover during enrolment and some evenings for showcase & parents evenings will be required. When events are taking place that require a reception presence you may be called upon to provide cover.
The hours for the role are detailed below however the opening times of reception are 8am until 6pm Monday and Wednesday, 8am until 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday and 8am until 5pm on Friday, should the need arise, you will be expected to provide cover during those times.
