COLLINGWOOD PRE-SCHOOL (South Woodham Ferrers)
We are looking to appoint an Early Year's Practitioner to our staff team.
The applicant will need to hold a full and relevant Level 2, Level 3 or
higher qualification.
Collingwood Pre-school is committed to safeguarding, equal opportunities, inclusion and promoting the welfare of children. It is a requirement of all staff that they share this commitment and follow the prescribed policy and procedures to continuously promote this culture across the whole pre-school.
The post will be starting after the autumn term Christmas break (January).
The post is for a Monday, with the possibility of future sessions and to cover staff absence and lunch club sessions.
Morning sessions are 8am-11.45am. Afternoon sessions are 12.15pm-4.00pm
The applicant should have a sound knowledge of child development and the EYFS 2021.
They should also have experience working with a small group of children as their Key Person and provide a stimulating, nurturing environment, where all our children and families feel valued.
They will ensure the well-being of all our children and support their learning and development, including children with additional needs. They will promote learning through play, learning opportunities and care for all our children.
Paediatric first aid training is preferred, however, a commitment to training is also acceptable.
The staff team are warm and welcoming to all new staff and the Manager and Deputy Manager will mentor the successful candidate through their probationary period.
The staff working on the session also support new staff with the rotas and specific job roles, in a kind, thoughtful and friendly manner.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to safeguard all children.
The position will involve all the appropriate checks and clearances.
