Job Description
Communications Administrator / Clerk to Governors
All Saints' C of E Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Communications Officer / Clerk to Governors to join the office team.
The hours will be 37 per week, Monday to Friday, with additional 2 hours a month to include time allocated for evening Governor Meetings. 38 weeks per year plus holiday entitlement.
Salary Scale 4, Point Range 7-8 (Actual Salary £20,314 - £20,656 per annum)

We are looking for a person who will:
● Contribute to the overall aims/ethos/values/improvement plan of the school.
● Be responsible for facilitating smooth communication within the school community, including parents, staff, Governors and external agencies
● Prepare correspondence, policies and other documentation to the Headteacher's specification.
● Use technology effectively to communicate with the school community including through the school website, online diary, twitter etc.
● Provide a professional, friendly and helpful service for all telephone, email or face to face enquiries to the school
● Act as the Clerk to Governors liaising with the Governing Body/Headteacher, prepare agendas, circulate accompanying documents and take and produce minutes
● Work well as part of a team and have a commitment to improving and developing their own practice
