Job Title: Midday Assistant (Nursery) - Bardfield Academy
Contract: Fixed term ending 31st August 2024
Weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Hours per week: 5 hours
Scale: 2 Point 3-4 (Depending on experience)
Actual Salary: £2,647.17 to £2,689.77 per annum (including fringe allowance)
Start Date: 4th January 2024
Closing Date: 10th December 2023
Interview Date: 15th December 2023
Bardfield Academy are looking to appoint an efficient Midday Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team who will assist with the supervision of the nursery children at lunchtime.
We are looking for a caring and committed individual who has the ability to work as part of the school team and someone who is dedicated to ensuring that lunchtime is a pleasurable and safe experience for all our children. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday from 11:40 am to 12:55 pm.
The ideal candidate should:
· Be self-motivated, flexible and a good team player, as well as having the ability to work on their own initiative.
· Have the Ability to work effectively and efficiently with other adults in the school.
· Have knowledge of first aid or a willingness to complete a first aid course.
· Have understanding of the way in which games and activities can help children develop.
· Have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Be caring, patient and empathetic.
