Operations Manager


Start Date: January 2024

Working hours:37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Permanent

Salary: Scale 7-8 Point 19-28 FTE: £30,466 - £37,337.00 (Actual Salary: £25,883.51 - £32,007.44)


We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Operations Manager to join our friendly, professional Shared Services team, providing support across all schools in our Trust.


As Operations Manager, you will work closely with our Executive team to ensure all operational and governance aspects of the Trust's procedures are completed and remain compliant with statutory requirements. As the Trust's Data Protection Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the Trust is compliant with legislation in this area. You will also manage our Senior Office Manager, working to ensure effective administration support is provided at each school.


Due to the nature of this role a full UK driving licence and own transport is a necessity.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills, including attention to detail;
  • Be proactive to work under own initiative, and also be a great team player;
  • Have knowledge of governance requirements in education or another sector;
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the need for systems and procedures and be capable of producing high level accurate reports and documentation.
  • The ideal candidate must be organised, full of initiative and common sense, with a proven ability to work effectively under pressure. You will have the ability to lead, relate well and build positive relationships with staff and key stakeholders at the highest levels within the Trust.
