Downham Primary School, working in partnership with Berlesduna Academy Trust, has an exciting opportunity for two experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants to join the team as soon as possible.
The positions are for 20 or 25 hours per week respectively, Monday to Friday, term time plus 5 INSET days.
Salary Scale 3, Point 5 (Range 5-6). Actual starting salaries are £10,890/£13,612 per annum (including paid annual leave which must be taken during school closure periods).

We are looking to appoint experience SEN Learning Support Assistants to support children 1:1, delivering activities and interventions as required under the direct of the class teacher and SENDCo/Head of Inclusion.
The ideal candidates will:
· have, or be willing to undertake, a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism (AET)
· be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or above and have achieved CGSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
· have experience of supporting children to regulate emotions
· work well a part of a team, taking advice and guidance from colleagues and other professionals
· communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff
