(£10,660.62 - £12,253.32 per annum depending on experience)

15 hours per week

Thursday and Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (with a 30 minute lunch break)

37 weeks of the year - term time only

(Plus September's inset days)

Start Date: 1st May 2024

An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen to join the friendly Office team at Bonnygate Primary School. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Support Manager who will be the Headteacher's PA and the office manager to ensure provision of an effective administrative and clerical support to the school.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate patience and show a commitment to supporting the school office. This role would be suited to someone enthusiastic, personable, empathetic and able to communicate effectively, whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner, under pressure. Previous school experience would be an advantage but is not essential. The position will involve:

· Providing personal assistance to the Headteacher, minute meetings, manage appointments, diaries and contacts

· Ensure the provision of an effective administrative and clerical support to the school

· Be responsible for the day-to-day management of the administration and data function

· Line manage three members of staff at the school

· Assist the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team by using data to provide school improvement information and be responsible for the setting up of systems within the school

· Champion and oversee GDPR across the school

· Be the HR and finance link for the Osborne Trust

· Oversee the website and policy compliance

· Support health and safety in the school

The successful candidate will be:

· A great communicator with excellent organisational skills and a helpful attitude

· Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team

· Excellent written skills with the ability to multi-task

· The ability to remain calm under pressure and remain positive

· The ability to follow safeguarding procedures and prioritise students' welfare

· GCSE Maths and English

· Excellent office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ideally SIMS
