Learning Support Assistant
LG Scale 4 (Point 7-8)
16.5 hours per week
3 days a week (to be confirmed); 8.40am to 3.25pm
Term time only
Actual annual salary within the range £8,341 to £8,493 (£11.59 to £11.81per hour), dependent on experience. Pay Award pending.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant, working in conjunction with the class teachers to support the children in the classroom and through targeted interventions, both in and out of the classroom.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with primary school age children in a school setting and be confident to work with pupils with challenging needs. They should have a good understanding of the primary curriculum and skills to assist all pupils in developing a good standard of attainment.
Minimum qualifications of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths are essential and a qualification in Learning Support is preferable.
