We are looking for an exceptionalperson to join our superb team of support staff. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and bright individual to work with the wonderful children in our school.

Sports Assistant

Start: September 2022
Salary: Scale 3 £19,264-£19,650 FTE pro rata for hours worked
39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days)
Fixed term contract until July 2023
Part-time role 11.45am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

We are looking for someone who is passionate about sport and PE to work alongside our Sports Coach to deliver our PE curriculum.

This post is suitable for a young person looking to take a first step towards a career in sports or teaching. Equally it would suit someone who is passionate about sport and enjoys working with children.

R A Butler Academy is a vibrant school located in the heart of the market town of Saffron Walden and a core school of the Saffron Academy Trust. Although technically two schools, Infant and Junior, we work as one and are led by one Headteacher. We have 90 children in each year group with a capacity of 630. Our site is spacious and well-resourced. Staff are well supported and the school is committed to career development.
