Our friendly village primary school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support a child with social, emotional, sensory and learning needs. The post is for 17 hours per week and is fixed term contract linked to the Educational Health and Care Plan for the duration of the child's attendance at Bishop William Ward.
The successful applicants will be required to:
Support the year 4 child's social, emotional, sensory and learning needs.
Work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher and Inclusion Manager.
Have previous experience of working with children with SEND
Have the ability to build effective relationships with children, parents and staff.
Have a positive attitude.
Undertake training specific to the child's needs.
