We are looking for a reliable, flexible and enthusiastic person to join our friendly office team in a supportive school to provide frontline reception duties and administrative tasks.
This is a permanent contract for 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday during term time. This role is set at Pay Scale 3 (with progression to 4 upon successful PMR) which equates to £19,264.00 pro-rata per annum (£16,214.10 actual per annum).
The successful candidate will have:
· An approachable, confident manner with the ability to relate and deal with enquiries from both adults and children
· Excellent organisation, interpersonal, multi-tasking and communication skills
· A flexible approach to daily tasks with the ability to work well both within a team and independently
· A clear understanding of the need for discretion and ability to maintain complete confidentiality
· Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills including Excel and Word
· The ability to multitask and work calmly, efficiently and accurately throughout disturbances during the day but still meet deadlines
· A positive and professional approach with the ability to use initiative and prioritise tasks
Duties will include:
· To be the first point of contact for both telephone and face to face enquiries and take messages where appropriate
· To undertake typing and word processing as required
· General administrative tasks - including some financial work
· Medical and welfare support for children

Previous experience of working in school administration and using school information management systems (SIMS, Pay 360) would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement, as 'in house' and relevant training will be provided for responsibilities.
