We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant. Part of the role will be to support a child within the foundation stage.

The successful candidate will need to hold at least NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent qualifications), Maths and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent and have had the experience of working in KS2 and feel confident that they are able to support the teaching and learning demands of this year group.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Be able to work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher
  • Firm and consistent, but fun
  • Approachable, patient and understanding
  • Have a good sense of humour

At Lift Plumberow we aim to give every child the very best start possible to their education through vibrant and engaging teaching, enabling the children to become active learners and by using an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum.

We are a large three form entry school, with an average of 650 pupils on roll, sat in the heart of the Hockley community. Our school community offers learning from Reception to Year 6. The Early Years are crucial to a child's development and our Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 enable the children to get their school careers off to a flying start.
