An opportunity has arisen for an efficient and conscientious Examination and Data Administration Assistant to start as soon as possible to provide support to the Data and Examinations Manager. Hours of work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 0800 to 1600. Term time only plus non-pupil days and 10 days summer holiday working.

The role will encompass supporting the administration and analysis of student data (including assessment, attendance, behaviour, examination and academic structure data). In addition, supporting the administration and organisation of the efficient running of all our external and internal examinations including 11+ examinations.

The successful applicant will be a committed team player with strong administrative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. They will be a good communicator, with the ability to liaise at all levels.

A working knowledge of a school environment, policies and procedures would be a distinct advantage. Knowledge of examination processes within a school setting is desirable but not essential.

Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust. It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding". Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students into the Sixth Form. The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site. Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
