Required as soon as possible

Full-time, 37 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm

LGS 8, within the range 25-28

Actual salary £30,203 to £32,860 pa subject to experience

(Includes outer fringe allowance)

We are looking to appoint an experienced HR Officer to provide an efficient, effective and comprehensive HR service to the school. Ideally you will have experience of working within a school environment but applicants with extensive HR experience outside of education will be considered.

Information about the School

St Martin's is a large co-educational comprehensive school located in Hutton, Brentwood. The school benefits from a pleasant semi-rural environment with agricultural land to the rear. The school, which also includes a large sixth form block, is situated on an open, attractive 30 acre site. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. Hutton is five miles from the M25 and 19 miles from London, which is easily reached by road or train (25 minutes to Liverpool Street Station).

This is a large, but friendly school in which all staff are helped to develop their talents. This is supported by an extensive and wide ranging in-house continual professional development programme (CPD). We have high quality mentoring and induction programmes for staff with excellent opportunities for training and professional development.
