REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE A LUNCHTIME PLAY LEADER

We are looking to appoint a Play Leader to join our fantastic lunchtime team.

Typically hours could be between 11.30 a.m. to 1.55 p.m. to cover our staggered lunch breaks at present due to the COVID restrictions.

Our Play Leaders spend their time supervising our children, ensuring they have a safe and fun playtime. You will be responsible for organising games and other activities to keep the children occupied and engaged throughout their time outside (or inside in the event of bad weather). You will support the effective operation of the team by demonstrating flexibility and co-operation.

This is a key role within school so the successful candidates must have a nurturing, positive attitude, be reliable and conscientious with a sense of fun, and be willing to promote the school's behaviour policy and social skills during the lunchtime period.

Ideally you must hold a qualified First Aid Certificate, but training will be provided for the successful candidate and recent working with children would be preferable.

This is a Thurrock Band A post (Points 1 to 5) approximately £9.43 - £10.19 per hour as applicable depending on qualifications and experience.
