Cleaner Required
15 hours a week, term-time only
Scale point 1, equivalent to £9 per hour
We are seeking a reliable cleaner for our busy school. This is a temporary role for 3 hours a day while we are continuing to increase our cleaning capacity due to the covid19 pandemic. This role will be during the school day to enable us to clean more frequently and will be term-time only.
You will be responsible for the cleaning of various areas of the school and duties will include:
Cleaning and sanitising certain parts of the school site
Replenishing consumables such as soap and paper towels
Cleaning doors and frequently touched surfaces
Checking stock levels of cleaning materials
Reporting all defects/hazards immediately to the site manager or supervisor
We are a large school of approximately 700 pupils with 23 classes and a Nursery.

Information about the School
In September 2018, Brightlingsea Infant School & Nursery and Brightlingsea Junior School became Brightlingsea Primary School and Nursery. We are a large Primary School, taking children from 2 to 11 years, with a three form entry and approximately 750 children on roll. This is an exciting time for our school and we are looking to further improve outcomes for our children and families. As a large school we are able to offer some exciting opportunities for staff: we recognise the importance of professional development and believe in investing in staff to help us to achieve our vision.
