Job Description

Two Cleaners required - 5 days (2 hours per day - 6am -8am or 4pm to 6pm)

Chipping Hill Primary School is looking to appoint a Cleaner to provide a clean, safe and healthy environment for the pupils and staff of the school. We require someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, reliable and dependable.

Duties will include: vacuuming, toilet cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, health and safety duties, as well as general duties prescribed by the Site Manager.

Previous experience of a similar role would be an advantage, however, not essential, as on the job training will be provided.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the general operation of a school environment, basic health and safety and safeguarding matters. A flexible and adaptable attitude is essential, as well as a friendly and approachable manner, with the ability to be firm but fair with students as appropriate.

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
