TEACHING ASSISTANT/ MIDDAY ASSISTANT (ONE JOB). TO START APRIL 2020
MDA - Scale 1 FTE £17,364 (Apr 2020)
LSA - Scale 3 POINT 4-5 FTE £18,426-£18,795 (Apr 2020)
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 12:15pm TA; 12-15pm - 1.30pm Midday Assistant; 2.00pm - 3.30pm TA
The Governors of St. Pius X Catholic Primary School are seeking to recruit an experienced, flexible and outstanding LSA whose skills will assist in maintaining the high standards within our school. We are looking for;
a creative and enthusiastic person to join our school, and work in the Foundation class.
someone who has had experience within an educational setting.
someone who has the ability to challenge, inspire and motivate..
someone who works well as part of a team, who is willing to be flexible and can adapt to the needs of the children and the school.

The job will also include the applicant to assist with lunch time duties ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of our children during the lunch time break.
The successful candidates must provide evidence of the following:
GCSE grade C or Level 2 equivalent in Maths and English
Experience working in a school environment, supporting pupils' learning
Positive approach to the role and behaviour management
Understanding of how pupils learn
Knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum across the key stages in a primary school

Welcome to St Pius X Catholic Primary School
Our school is a small, caring and happy school where staff know all of the children and where every child really matters.
