TA : Term time including 5 INSET days

Pay: Band 2

Contract type: Part-time 15 hours a week (Mon - Fri am)

Great Totham Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant in the New Year. Date to be agreed with successful candidate.

We are a friendly and supportive school whose dedicated teaching and support staff work as a team to ensure the best possible opportunities for our children.

The successful candidate will:-

· Work 5 mornings a week providing support and challenge, mainly in English and Maths

· Work with groups of children under class teacher direction

· Provide pastoral care for children within the classroom

· Have good English and maths qualifications

· Enjoy working with children and responding to their individual needs.

In addition it will be an advantage, but not essential, if:

· You have NVQ level 3 or equivalent in support work in schools
