Teacher of Girls PE

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Physical Education to teach Girls PE and supervise the girls changing rooms. The ideal candidate will have high expectations, strong classroom management skills and good subject knowledge. We seek a person who is prepared to inspire students and take responsibility for their progress. We have a strong team ethos and we are looking for a like-minded person to join the department at an exciting time of its development.

At Tendring Technology College, Physical Education is taught in mixed gender ability groups in KS3. Students follow 6 core sports of Dance, Trampolining, Volleyball, Netball, Athletics and Rounders. At KS4 we diversify the curriculum slightly to allow students to follow different pathways. As KS 4 we also have a large number of students studying OCR GCSE and BTEC sport. At KS 5 we offer A-Level Physical Education, BTEC Sport Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma and a Volleyball Academy. We run a comprehensive extra-curricular programme and as a result have had numerous successes including National success in Volleyball. In Physical Education at Tendring Technology College we are always striving for our students to reach their potential and for every student to find an area in Physical Education where they can excel and promote a lifelong healthy lifestyle.
