We are looking to recruit some Teaching Assistants on a fixed term 1 year contract to work in this school for children with severe and profound learning difficulties. Candidates must have some experience in a related field and an understanding of children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. Candidates should also have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team and have a willingness to learn and take on new skills.
The post is for 26.25 hours a week Monday to Friday and term time only.
Salary £14,733 to £16,440 pro rata dependent on experience

Information about the School
Shorefields School caters for the needs of pupils with a range of severe learning difficulties. We currently have 177 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 19 years. The school is located in the centre of Clacton-on-Sea close to the beach and shopping area. Our catchment area extends to the whole of the Tendring peninsula.
