The Tendring Enterprise Studio School (TESS) based in Clacton on sea, Essex, opened September 2012 and is one of the first of its kind in the United Kingdom. Studio Schools are small schools of around 300 students and have been designed to help 14-19 year olds better prepare for the world of work and, where appropriate, further and higher education. Tendring Enterprise Studio School is entering an exciting phase in its continued development.
We are at the forefront of educational transformation: as a Studio School we play a vital role in equipping young people with the skills and experience they need to succeed in a competitive jobs market, through combining mainstream core qualifications with real experience of the world of work. Our staff are all extremely passionate about what they do and have a flair for creative teaching and inspiring students to achieve. We are looking to appoint highly motivated, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant(s) to join our established Behaviour for Learning team who work together closely with Pastoral Support staff and SENDco. You will be expected to work flexibly with the team to support students in various group sizes and individually to support Behaviour for Learning and assist students to progress rapidly academically. These positions have a particular focus on statemented students. The successful candidates will have successful experience of working with children in a school/early year's environment and will be educated to NVQ Level 2 in learning support or equivalent.
