Oakwood Infant and Nursery School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and motivated individual to join our friendly team of midday staff, supporting children during their lunch break.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide support in the dining hall and playgound
Encouraging good dining room practices
Provide basic medical care where necessary
Encouraging group games
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our children
Preparing and/or clearing the dining hall
You must have:
A flexible "can-do" approach
The ability to communicate with childrenat all levels
Good organisational skills
Patience and understanding
The vacancy is for each day of the week. If you are only able to work a certain number of days then please contact Nikki Mead to advise via recruitment@flitchgreen.net, as a job share is also available.
The appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and satisfactory references.
Immediate start (or when available to do so)
7.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday
Term time only
Scale 2 Point 3 -4
Closing date: Midday Thursday 13th November 2026
