At Gosfield Community Primary School, we believe every child deserves the very best education, opportunities and support. We are looking for an efficient, organised and welcoming Finance and HR Assistant to join our dedicated team and play a key role in supporting our ambitious school community.

This is much more than an administrative role. As one of the first people our visitors, families and staff encounter, you will be an important ambassador for our school. We are seeking someone who is professional, approachable and highly organised, with the ability to build positive relationships and contribute to the warm, inclusive culture that makes Gosfield such a special place to learn and work.

Whether supporting financial processes, HR administration, communicating with families or helping the school run smoothly behind the scenes, you will share our commitment to raising the bar in everything we do because our children deserve the best.

Experience of using Arbor and SIMS Finance would be beneficial, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is highly organised, efficient and able to prioritise effectively
  • Demonstrates professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
  • Has excellent administrative and communication skills
  • Is welcoming, approachable and able to build positive relationships with pupils, families, staff and visitors
  • Enjoys working as part of a team while also using their own initiative
  • Shares our high expectations and commitment to excellence
  • Supports and promotes the vision and values of the school

Be part of an exciting journey as we continue to raise standards, strengthen provision and enrich opportunities for our pupils and community.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. To arrange a visit, please contact Mrs Bower on 01787 472266.
