We are seeking to employ a Finance Officer for our busy but friendly school office. The post requires 20.5 hours a week, three days a week- two days 9am to 5pm, one day 9am to 4.30pm, term time plus 1 week (40 weeks). This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, proactive, finance professional to work in a busy school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of budgeting and finance in the school, ensuring its sustainability for the future.
The successful candidate will,
· Be experienced in the field of finance; preferably within a school setting
· Demonstrate an understanding of a school management/ finance system; (SIMS) FMS or equivalent and proficient IT skills including Microsoft products
· Be self-motivated and organised and able to work as part of a team
