Part‑time Class Teacher (Year 3) - Bocking Primary School

About the role
This part‑time, temporary Year 3 teaching role is an opportunity to plan and deliver engaging, motivating lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. You will:
Create a calm, purposeful classroom where pupils feel safe to take risks and learn
Plan differentiated learning that builds on pupils' strengths and addresses needs
Use assessment to adapt teaching in real time and support pupil progress
Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, events and parent engagement
Work collaboratively with colleagues and the trust to share practice and develop professionally
If you enjoy delivering creative, child‑centred learning and can bring energy and high expectations to the classroom, this role will let you make a clear impact.
About you - the ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience teaching in the primary phase and a secure understanding of primary expectations
Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and models our values
Differentiates effectively so every pupil can access and progress through the curriculum
Uses assessment thoughtfully to inform planning and next steps
Is committed to professional development, eager to take on leadership responsibilities over time, and enjoys working as part of a cheerful, supportive team
