Early years practitioner - Family run Preschool.
We are a friendly, family run preschool with a small team of practitioners. We provide a warm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop their confidence.
We are open 8-5:30 during term time. We enjoy making the most of our local community and regularly take the children out on exciting visits, including trips to the museums, allotments and to feed the ducks.
About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic early years practitioner to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young children and is committed to giving every child the best possible start in life.
The successful candidate will:
- be enthusiastic, caring and motivated
- Have lots of creative ideas for planning and delivering exciting activities
- enjoy supporting children's wellbeing
- work positively as part of a small team
- help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for all children
Qualifications and experience:
- Level 2 or level 3 early years qualification
- knowledge of the EYFS
- first aid is desirable
- food hygiene is desirable
- safeguarding knowledge is desirable, although training will be provided.
