Level 3 Early Years Learning Support Assistant required Monday 2nd November or before. Scale 3, Point 6-7

Working Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.10pm (with 45 minutes break in total), term time only. Permanent position.

We are looking for a proactive and inspiring Early Years practitioner who is capable of using their initiative as well as working as part of a team to provide the best outcomes for all children.

At Hatfield Peverel Infant and Nursery School the children, the staff and our families are at the heart of everything we do. You must be able to laugh and play!

Our EYFS team is skilful in finding opportunities to extend ideas, provide challenge and encourage curiosity. Creativity and independence is encouraged through our well-resourced environment. Relationships with the children and families are key and we want to make every child feel welcome and special.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the nursery teacher and reception teachers to deliver a cross curricular EYFS curriculum.
• Supporting and leading whole class, small group and one to one interventions.
• Intimate care where needed.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to be a strong team player.
• The passion and ability to plan for children's development, by identifying and preparing resources required to support lesson plans, learning outcomes.
• The committment to develop an exciting and nuturing learning environment with indoor and outdoor activities.
• Good organisational skills.
• Good behaviour management skills.
• Good basic English and Mathematics (minimum GCSE).
• A passion for the impact teaching and learning can have on improving lives.
• A commitment to supporting the delivery of education at the highest standard.

Hatfield Peverel Infant and Nursery School is a two form Infant School with an attached Nursery. It has excellent transport links to Chelmsford, Witham, Maldon and Colchester. We are a semi open plan, well resourced school with our own school garden.
