Brentwood Senior School is an academically selective HMC co-educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. It is part of Brentwood School, a 3-18 HMC school of 1900 pupils, just 35 minutes from London Liverpool Street.

We are seeking an organised, proactive and highly dependable Attendance Officer / Senior Administrator to play a key role in the smooth running of our school. The role combines responsibility for student attendance, pastoral and safeguarding administration, student data and wider school administration. Working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the successful candidate will monitor and follow up attendance, maintain accurate records on iSAMS, support compliance processes and ensure an efficient service for staff, students and parents. The day will be split between Attendance Officer (8am-12noon, term time only - 35 weeks) and Senior Administrator (1pm-5pm, term time plus three weeks), with the additional three weeks worked at 8am-5pm.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and attention-to-detail skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and following up outstanding information. Discretion, integrity and absolute confidentiality are essential when handling sensitive safeguarding and student data. You will be confident in managing competing priorities in a busy, high-volume environment and committed to providing a professional and responsive service to colleagues, students and parents.
